Chiefs Take on Hurricanes for Final Preseason

Chiefs coach Ian Foster is looking forward to the final Chiefs preseason match in Rotorua this Friday afternoon as an opportunity to try new combinations as well as expose his players to some warm playing conditions.
"Friday's match will see us trying some new things as well as getting the players prepared for hot playing conditions - something we will be facing in South Africa next week," says Foster.
Twenty-five Chiefs and three wider training group players expect to get game time in the preseason game against the Hurricanes.
The Chiefs team to play the Hurricanes on Friday 5 February at 3.00pm at Rotorua International Stadium in Rotorua is:

Tickets to Chiefs v Hurricanes preseason fixture can be purchased on game day at the gates of Rotorua International Stadium from 9.00am. Adults are $10 and kids are free.
Chiefs players will be out and about talking to locals on Rotorua's main streets on Friday morning from 10.15am-10.45am. The Chiefs will walk from the Lake Domain and meet outside Rebel Sport Rotorua.
The Chiefs fly out to South Africa early on Sunday morning to embark on the start of their Rebel Sport Super 14 campaign. Their round one fixture is against the Sharks in Durban on Sunday 14 February, kick off 6.10am (NZ time).
