• This was the Chiefs second drawn match against the Cheetahs.
• Long gone are the 3-3, 6-6 draws. The Chiefs have drawn four times for scores of 22-22, 25-25, 26-26, 28-28
• Toby Smith scored his first try in first class rugby.
• Hika Elliot has tries in consecutive games against the Cheetahs.
• Liam Messam last scored against the Cheetahs in 2007.
• This is the first time that the Chiefs had failed with as many as five conversions in a match.
• The Chiefs have converted every try away from home this year - but have been successful with just six of 14 at home. (So much for local knowledge).
