A powerful up and coming winger - Hona was selected in the Chiefs Wider Training Group. He was called into the main Chiefs squad as injury cover to Lelia Masaga who is currently in rehabilitation for his shoulder after an operation last year.
Hona enjoyed game time with the Chiefs in their pre-season build up.
