Back for his second season with the Chiefs, Delany is a skilful first five-eighth who can also cover at fullback. He brings with him a strong and accurate kicking game. His great form in the Air New Zealand Cup competition for his province Bay of Plenty saw Delany earn selection into the All Blacks for their end-of-year tour.
