Getting to and from the stadium is all about planning!

We suggest dressing for the NZ changeable weather, allow time for parking and we also suggest taking cash. See below for tips about the getting to and from the game and any other information we think you might need.

Getting into the stadium can be tricky if you’re not familiar with the stadium, so make sure you read your ticket as that will advise which gate is best to enter in.

At the gates expect bags to be searched as this is now standard safety protocol at all major public events.

If taking children to the game we do suggest checking out the Waikato Stadium Entry Conditions as you may be pleasantly surprised as want you are allowed in. Again we suggest taking cash for ease of purchasing if your nagged for the punnet of classic hot chips at the rugby.

At all major entry points the official Chiefs match day programme will be on sale for $2 or free to season members. With a percentage of sales being going towards a nominated charity.

Kids remember to take your favourite rugby ball or jersey to grab your favourite players autograph at the end of game.
