New home for the Chiefs

The Chiefs have a new base at Ruakura Research Centre in Hamilton and the team have been involved in setting up their new home
The players spent time cleaning out the old Meat Research Institute building, painting walls and setting up the new premises. Qualified plumber and player Alex Bradley has also been lending a hand working on the plumbing.
The new facility includes a gym, offices and team, medical and analysis rooms. Goalposts have been erected at the oval and scrummaging and lineout practice will take place on a second field beside the offices
Chiefs CEO Gary Dawson said the move is important “Being all together is great for team culture”. Waikato Stadium will remain the Chiefs main home ground.
