Quick thinking and exciting halfback Brad Weber established himself as the first-choice halfback for the Gallagher Chiefs in his Investec Super Rugby debut in 2014.

He was a stand-out performer in the 2015 campaign, earning an All Blacks call-up for the historic match against Samoa and making his Māori All Blacks debut against the Barbarians.

In 2016, he shifted to Hawke’s Bay from Waikato for the Mitre 10 Cup, where he continued to display his strong leadership skills. He was unlucky in 2017 to suffer a thigh injury, side-lining him for the entire season, he made his return for the Gallagher Chiefs in 2018.

Weber had an impressive 2019 Investec Super Rugby. The skilful halfback captained in the absence of co-captains Sam Cane and Brodie Retallick. His consistent form earnt him his place in the 2019 All Blacks Rugby World Cup squad.

Weber was also part of the 2019 All Blacks Rugby World Cup squad who finished the tournament 3rd in Japan.
