Narawa was born in Fiji and schooled at Hamilton Boys High on scholarship before heading to the Bay of Plenty. The former Chiefs Under 18s talent made his provincial debut for the Steamers at the age of 19 under Clayton McMillan. He was picked up by the Blues in 2020 and debuted the same year.

In 2022 Narawa made the shift to join the Gallagher Chiefs and debuted that year against the Highlanders.

Narawa had an outstanding 2023 DHL Super Rugby Pacific season with form that saw him named in the All Blacks squad for the Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship where he scored a try on debut against Argentina.
