Etene Nanai-Seturo, younger cousin of Tim Nanai-Williams, had a breakthrough year with the All Black Sevens in 2018.
In 2019 Nanai-Seturo earned the call up for the New Zealand Under-20 campaign in Argentina.
Nanai-Seturo made the return to Super Rugby Aotearoa following the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics.
Nanai-Seturo continued his impressive form for the Gallagher Chiefs in 2020 and 2021 before returning to join the All Blacks Sevens to represent New Zealand at the Tokyo Olympics. The team ended up with silver medals after being defeated by Fiji in the final.
After another strong season on the wing for the Gallagher Chiefs, Nanai-Seturo was named in the All Blacks XV for the 2023 Lipovitan-D Challenge Cup tour of Japan.
