Naitoa Ah Kuoi has been involved in the New Zealand Secondary Schools and also represented New Zealand in the 2019 Under-20 Oceania Tournament.
After flourishing through the Mitre 10 Cup season, Ah Kuoi demonstrated his capability in his rookie year of Super Rugby for the Gallagher Chiefs.
An athletic player who is equally adept at lock as he is loose forward, he has also shown a real ability to pop up out wide to support ball carriers in attacking situations.
Ah Kuoi had an outstanding 2023 DHL Super Rugby Pacific season, sitting in the top 5 on the competition statistics for lineout steals throughout. He was also named in the 2023 All Blacks XV squad to tour Japan for the Lipovitan-D Challenge Cup.
