Talented outside back Shaun Stevenson was named MVP for his performance for the Gallagher Chiefs at the Brisbane Global tens.
He continued with impressive performances for Waikato during his provincial campaign and then making his Super Rugby debut for the Gallagher Chiefs in 2016.
Stevenson has also represented the Māori All Blacks in their 2018 and 2019 campaigns and was selected again in 2021 for their two game series. In 2021, Stevenson solidified his position in the game day 23 in the Trans-Tasman competition.
After an outstanding 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season where he played every game, scoring 12 tries, Stevenson was named in the All Blacks squad as an injury replacement for the Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship. He went on to start against the Wallabies during the Bledisloe Cup scoring a try on debut.
