Bay of Plenty Halfback Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi earned his spot in the 2015 New Zealand Under-20 squad where they won the World Rugby Junior World Championship.
He made his Investec Super Rugby debut for the Hurricanes in 2016.
In 2017 Tahuriorangi signed with the Gallagher Chiefs. That same year Tahuriorangi went on to represent and debut for the Māori All Blacks against the British Irish Lions.
Tahuriorangi's journey continued to prosper in 2018. He received his first call-up to the All Blacks; making his debut against Argentina in Nelson.
After a stint with the Crusaders in 2022, Tahuriorangi returned to the Gallagher Chiefs as an injury replacement for the 2023 season. He later re-signed with the club for the 2024 season.
