Paraone has played rugby since she was 13 at high school and has since represented two clubs, the Helensville Villains and Kihikihi. In 2022 she was part of the Chiefs Manawa wider training squad and went on to run out for two games later in the season. For the 2023 season, she made the decision to gain playing experience overseas.
