Originally from Kerikeri, Mia Anderson made her FPC debut for Northland at just 17 years old. She later made the shift south to study Business and Sports Science at the University of Waikato.
Now playing for Waikato in FPC, she was acknowledged for her talent with her recent selection for the Black Ferns XV squad.
She made her Chiefs Manawa debut in 2022 but was unavailable for selection in 2023 due to maternity leave.
