Cane named to captain Bay of Plenty Steamers

The Steamers coaching team have named their Steamers team to play Southland in the Bay of Plenty double header game at Rotorua International Stadium.

Gallagher Chiefs Captain Sam Cane has been named to captain the team. It will be Cane's first time captaining his Bay of Plenty team since his debut in 2010.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 Level 2 restrictions, no crowds will be permitted at the stadium, however the game will be available to watch live on Sky Sport 1 (channel 51).
