Chiefs Rugby call for dry food donations
The Chiefs Rugby Club will once again be running their annual Dry Food Drive from Sunday 1 December – Wednesday 18 December.
The Chiefs Rugby Club are encouraging our community to join the Club in spreading the Christmas joy to families in need by heading into the Chiefs Rugby office and dropping off a dry food donation underneath the Christmas tree at reception.
Sponsor and Community Relations Manager Emma Langman said: “It is a great opportunity to take a look in your pantry and see if there are any non-perishable, sealed or unopened food or hygiene products you’d be willing to donate. If you are unsure what to give, there will also be an option to purchase a supermarket gift card on our online merchandise store. We will then redeem on your behalf for a selection of dry goods to donate.”
All donations received will be collected by St Vincent de Paul and distributed to families in need within the Waikato.
