Etene Nanai-Seturo excited for Gallagher Chiefs return
New Zealand All Blacks Sevens and Gallagher Chiefs back Etene Nanai-Seturo has returned to the Gallagher Chiefs for the upcoming Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa competition. The eagerly awaited competition will kick off with the Highlanders hosting the Gallagher Chiefs on Saturday 13 June in Dunedin.
The elusive Counties Manukau outside back, is excited to be training at the Gallagher Chiefs home base in Hamilton.
“It’s good to be back in the Gallagher Chiefs environment. It has been a tough couple of days with the boys but loving every minute of it,” said Nanai-Seturo.
Nanai-Seturo has quickly adjusted to the 15-man game after being immersed in the All Blacks Sevens environment.
“It has been challenging getting my head around the 15-man game again. But the boys and coaches have been helping me a lot which is making it easier,” said Nanai-Seturo.
Ahead of the Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa competition kicking off this Saturday at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin. Nanai-Seturo acknowledged his excitement for the competition to return. “I am really happy to be back with the guys and looking forward to the Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa competition kicking off. There will be plenty of great games and it will definitely be a competitive competition among the teams for fans to enjoy.”
