First Windows and Doors extend partnership with Damian McKenzie
After recently announcing his commitment to the Gallagher Chiefs for another two years, Damian McKenzie will also be extending his partnership with First Windows and Doors as their ambassador.
Through this partnership, McKenzie will continue to foster the next generation of Gallagher Chiefs and Waitomo Chiefs Manawa players by working collaboratively with First Windows and Doors to create events for young fans to enjoy and make memories.
Speaking on the partnership with McKenzie, APL Window Solutions CEO Dave Downey said: "Damian McKenzie is an excellent representative for First Windows and Doors. His friendly, down-to-earth nature and appeal to young rugby fans mean that we can offer unique experiences to our local rugby fans – and we are excited to continue this work next season.”
Today McKenzie will join five other Gallagher Chiefs players for a hands-on skills session in New Plymouth with 80 local young fans ahead of the team’s game against the Reds at Yarrow Stadium.
For the 2023 season, First Windows & Doors also included McKenzie's friend and teammate Anton Lienert-Brown to run campaigns that promote friendship and community. The Ultimate Rugby Training Challenge campaign sees McKenzie and Lienert-Brown team up for a series of rugby skills videos for young players to hone their skills.
As part of this campaign, there is a chance for young rugby fans to have an exclusive training with McKenzie and Lienert-Brown at Chiefs HQ followed by premier seats to the Gallagher Chiefs vs Hurricanes match and a tour of FMG Stadium Waikato.
