Gallagher Chiefs to play Queensland Reds in final pre-season trial

The Gallagher Chiefs will depart for Brisbane today, ahead of their final pre-season trial game against the Queensland Reds at Ballymore Stadium.

Kicking off at 7.15pm (AUS) on Friday 8 February, it will be the final opportunity for players to put their hands up for selection ahead of their first Investec Super Rugby game of the season on Friday 15 February at 7.35pm against the Highlanders at FMG Stadium Waikato.

The 27 man travelling squad will be hosted by Brad Thorn’s Queensland Reds and will tussle it out over two forty minute halves with water breaks at the 20 minute mark of each half. Both teams will be able to utilise rolling subs for their final pre-season fixture.

The Queensland Red’s will meet the Gallagher Chiefs back at home at FMG Stadium Waikato on Friday 24 May.
