Squads named for pre-season at Pukekohe
The second pre-season match for both Chiefs Rugby Club squads kicks off tomorrow at Navigation Homes Stadium, Pukekohe.
The games will be played in a 'Game of Three Halves' format with the Waitomo Chiefs Manawa to face the Blues and Waratahs women's teams followed by the Gallagher Chiefs against the Blues.
This pre-season clash will give squads a final opportunity to test combinations ahead of their respective Super Rugby competitions beginning next week.
The Gallagher Chiefs squad will see many of the All Blacks return to the field in Chiefs colours for the first time this season, including Samisoni Taukei'aho, Sam Cane and Anton Lienert-Brown.
Meanwhile, the Waitomo Chiefs Manawa side will introduce fans to a wealth of new talent playing this season alongside the now household names of their Black Ferns teammates.
